Trading Pins
Trading pins started gaining popularity about ten years ago in little league baseball toumaments.Teams would bring baseball team trading pins to each toumament to trade with players from other teams that they were competing against.
Today,they are popular among most team sports such as soccer,swimming,softball,hockey,football,basketball,tennis,golf and jump roping.Hockey trading pins are wildly popular,as are softball and baseball pins.
Most toumaments ahve a team in trading ceremony where all of the teams get together to trade with each other.This event is the highlight of the toumament for the kids.
Custom trading pins are even popular at events like Destination Imagination.Aside from pins meant for trade amongst athletes,these collectables are traded with other groups as well.Lions Club trading pins are hot itmes. |
